Xperia Z3 is now available for sale in India

After the announcement of the flagship device Xperia Z2 which was launched four months ago, Sony has launched its new smartphone Xperia Z3, its mini version – Z3 Compact in India. This is nothing new for Sony, as it did the same with Xperia Z1, which was launched five months before Xperia Z2. The company confirmed that these devices will be available for sale in India from Thursday.

Xperia Z3 is featured with a 2.5Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 series processor with 3GB of RAM. Also, 5.2-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display,16GB built-in storage (expandable up to 128GB) and 3,100 mAh battery for a decent power backup. One of the eye-catching feature is its camera of 20.7 megapixel camera with new 25mm “G Lens” and is the world’s first smartphone with ISO 12800 sensitivity for good quality photos. Features like auto-focus, Exmor RS sensor, pulsed LED flash, 4K resolution video recording supports for low light photography and a 2.2 MP snapper on the front.

Xperia Z3 also boasts of dust resistant certification and IP65/IP68 water which is the highest rating in the smartphone industry. That means that the phone can be dip upto 1.5 meters under the water for 30 minutes. The device comes with a PlatStation certification that allows user to use this smartphone as a controller on PS4 console, and they can play games on a smartphone as well.

Sony Xperia Z3 compact holds almost same technical specifications but differs in 2GB of RAM, 2600mAh battery, and a 4.6-inch display. Both of the devices differs on the dimensions also, as Z3 occupies 146.5 x 72. 0 x 7.3 mm,152 g whereas its compact variant contains 146.5 x 72. 0 x 7.3 mm, 129 g. The company priced Xperia Z3 at ₹51,990 and Xperia z3 compact at ₹44,990, and they are available in White, black, and copper; White, black, green and orange color variants respectively.
