The last edition of Insidious released two years ago was a massive hit. However, there is no confirmation about the fifth installment. While the fans are eager for the next round, the streaming authority has not opened their mouth till now.
In 2019 Insidious cast member Lin Shaye remarked in an interview that the makers are ready with a story for chapter 5; which will be most exciting and fascinating than all previous rounds. She hinted that the film might premiere around next year, though the scriptwriting is not started yet. The bad news comes with the fact that 2020 has been spoiled due to the outbreak of the deadly virus and all production has been halted. Fans might have to wait till 2021 for any more updates.

Insidious is a horror movie which is inspired by real-life characters. The movie was directed by James Wan and produced by Jason Blum, Oren Peli, and Steven Schneider. The first edition of of Insidious came up in 2010. After the success of the first season, three more editions were made. The last plate was aired in 2018. Since then, there has been no news on the coming seasons.
Insidious revolves around a family who finds out that dark spirits have descended upon their home after their son inexplicably slumps into an endless sleep. When they reach out to a skilled person for help, they realize things are a lot more personal than they predicted.
