Russian Doll Season 2 : Details we know so far

In June 2019, it was announced by Netflix in their official twitter account that Russian Doll will be back with season 2.  The creators of the series have mentioned that there is always a scope of doing more seasons of the dark comedy. The production was supposed to start in the month of May 2020 but now due to Covid, everything is in halt.

No official announcement has been made regarding the date of release. Even no official trailer has been released yet. The creators have just hinted that they are in plan to make this as three-season series. The screenwriter mentioned that “We initially pitched it like three seasons. We came in with it as like, ‘Here’s the idea for season one, here’s the idea for season two, here’s the idea for season three’. So, I could definitely see us going back to one of those ideas.” They have also hinted that there are chances that season 2 will entirely come up with a new idea.

With every death, more and more audiences got connected with season 1. The story is a self-contained story that is liked by the audience.

Overview of Russian Doll Season 2

In the series Nadia Vulvokov shown as a game developer. Her journey as the guest of honor in a party one night in New York City is shown. She dies repeatedly and relives the same night in an ongoing time loop. She tries to solve it which leads her to find Alan Zaveri in the same situation.
