The Kingdom is a South Korean feudal zombie fantasy series, and along with the storyline, the visuals makes this series a pretty strong base. The series has been adapted from Kim Eun-hee and Yang, The Kingdom of the Gods.

The series is available on Netflix for streaming and stars Ji-Hoon Ju, Doona Bae, Kim Sungkyu and Hye-Jun Kim in the leading cast of this show.

Netflix of late has been increasing the diversity of the shows, and its range is growing wide. The Kingdom is the first original Korean series on Netflix, and it sure is a gem of a show in terms of its plot and character. The premise of the show is set in Korea in 1897. The show had made its debut on 25 January 2019 and at present has two seasons under its franchise.

Kingdom Season 3: Who will be seen in the cast?

In the third instalment of the Korean fantasy series Kingdom, we expect to see Ju Ji-hoon playing the role of Crown Prince Lee Chang, Ryu Seung-Ryong will be seen as Cho Hak-Ju, Bae Doona will be seen as Seo-bi, and Kim Sung-kyu will be seen as Yeong-shin jein.

Kingdom Season 3: Plot details

In the third season, the plot of the show will pick up the adventures after the advent of the initial zombie outbreak which has broken out seven years and three months ago. In the third season, this fantasy horror drama will deal with Seo-bi’s story. It will explore her story as she makes her escape from the dynasty and along with the young child sets on a different journey.

While the first season of KingdomKingdom had made it to Netflix on January 2019, the second season was released in March 2020. We can expect the third season to delay by several months as the pandemic has brought the production to a halt.
