John Krasinski’s horror movie sequel to the 2018 movie is to release soon. Produced by Platinum Dunes, Krasinski is the director of the movie and has scripted it as well.
A Quiet Place is based on the characters which has been created by Bryan Woods and Scott Beck. The first movie released two years back, A Quiet Place film follows the story of the Abbotts, who live in post-apocalyptic USA. They are forced to live in silence in order to remain out of the view of the murdering monsters with super-sensitive hearing.
This horror flick has been renewed for a sequel and here’s what you need to know.
A Quiet Place II: Release Date
A Quiet Place II was to hit the theatres on March 20, 2020. But the pandemic has pushed it to a later date to release on September 4, 2020.
Again the movie skipped this release date and now A Quiet Place II will hit the theatres on April 23, 2021. Paramount Pictures acknowledges how the theatres have been hit by the pandemic situation and to robustly follow the safety protocols, the release date has been delayed. Also they are committed to the theatrical release and hence the delay.

In the cast of the movie we have:
1) Emily Blunt as Evelyn;
2) Millicent Simmonds as Regan; and
3) Noah Jupe as Marcus.
John Krasinski will probably make his return as Lee but it is rumored that his appearances will only be in flashback sequences.
Additionally, Cillian Murphy has been casted as Emmett. Djimon Hounso has also joined the cast of the movie as well.
Cillian Murphy talks about his role in an interview. He says that
“For me, Emmett represents where the heart of the world lies right now, which is: finally feeling like they’ve all given up. Here comes this girl [Regan] who allows you to believe in more, and allows you to believe in yourself. That idea, I’ve always been really enthralled by.”

In the upcoming sequel, Evelyn Abbott with her children steps into the outside world as the farms are burned down. The apocalyptic alien invasion is shown through flashbacks in this movie.
They will be meeting at least two new characters, but we do not know now if they are friends or foes.
