Christopher Nolan’s Tenet to hit the theatres in August

The much-anticipated movie Tenet directed by Christopher Nolan will be released internationally in August. However, there is an exception in relation to the US.

Christopher Nolan’s most awaited sci-fi thriller Tenet which has already created a lot of buzz in the media, is all set to release in August in the international markets before a limited release in the US. 

The release date of Tenet had been postponed many time before due to ongoing COVID-19, but now, Warner Bros has delighted the fans who have been waiting for the release of Tenet for long by announcing the release date of the movie.

According to the recent news, The most anticipated movie will be released in 70 countries worldwide from 26 August, which includes France and the United Kingdom, before a release in select US cities on 3 September. However, the exact cities are yet not confirmed.

There are several media reports which suggest that Christopher Nolan’s Tenet will hit in the selected cities after the Labour Day weekend there. 

Warner Bros has given a statement on Monday that the thriller drama is going to open in the US a week later on 3 September 2020. 

‘Reopening plans for “mid-to-late August” has also been announced by America’s biggest cinema chain, AMC, however, Regal and Cinemark have still not unveiled their strategies. 

Although several independent theatres are reopened in several places, there has been no reopening of the indoor theatres in New York and California. If media reports are to be believed, less than 20% of cinemas are currently open in the US.

Christopher Nolan’s Tenet was previously scheduled to release on 17 July 2020. But, due to the novel coronavirus, its release date was shifted like many other Hollywood movies. Today, the third release date of the film has been announced.

John David Washington, Rober Pattinson, Kenneth Branagh, Dimple Kapadia, and many other renowned stars will be featured as the lead characters in the movie. While Emma Thomas co-produced this sci-fi thriller. 

Tenet’s official poster was published long ago, and the fans who are now looking forward to watching it in theatres are enthusiastic about it.
