Brad Pitt and Joey King’s new horror film “The Lie” will drop in October this year

As per the report, the most beloved star of The Kissing Booth 2 Joey King’s new horror movie will be released on Amazon Prime in October 2020. Joey King’s upcoming horror movie “The Lie,” which has been directed by the Killing creator Veena Sud, had its world premiere earlier in 2018 at the Toronto Film Festival.

Reportedly, the story of this movie revolves around the terrible aftermath when Joey King’s best friend was murdered. Once her underage daughter (Joey King) commits to murdering his best mate, parents (Mireille Enos and Peter Sarsgaard) must cope with the grievous consequences. The film will be available on Amazon Prime Video on 6th October.

Joey will play the major movie role with renowned Hollywood star Brad Pitt.  At the beginning of this month, Our gorgeous actress Joey announced on her social media account that she is “all aboard” the Bullet Train as she has been featured along with Pitt in the upcoming film, which is based on the Japanese novel Maria Beetle, of Kotaro Isaka.

Zak Olkewicz has also written the script of  Bullet Train, which follows the lives of five assassins who find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train, which is scheduled from Tokyo to Morioka only a few stops between the two destinations.

While Sud is no stranger to tales of crime and punishment after four seasons of her Golden Globe-nominated series The Killing, the feature format offered an opportunity to approach the genre in a new way. “Packing into 90 minutes what I’m used to writing for a 10-13 hour story creates natural propulsive energy where not one moment is superfluous, not one frame is wasted,” Sud said.

Joey King expressed her happiness on Instagram and shared a post with the caption as “All aboard… I’m so excited it’s kind of unbelievable! Is this real life?”

While it was quipped by the actor star on Twitter that “In a new movie with a guy named Brad Pitt, we get to be on a Choo choo train. Sounds legit,” along with a smug smile emoticon.
