Asus Zenfone Live (L1) is available to buy at Best Buy stores in the U.S. at $110

Asus announced its Asus Zenfone Live L1 for the U.S. market with Android Go, a stripped-down version of Android oreo. AS per the specs, Asus Zenfone Live sports a 5.5” 1,440 x 720 LCD screen producing an aspect ratio of 18:9 and brightness of impressive 400 nits. The device has all entry-level specs at a price tag of $110 which is although expensive than Alcatel 1X, it is still an impressive smartphone to buy.

Asus Zenfone Live L1 will be available at Best Buy stores at a price tag of $109.99 precisely, as of now, the smartphone is available on Best Buy’s website. According to the press release, Zenfone Live is an entertainment-focused phone with 5.5-inch full-view 18:9 display that bigger and cleaner even after its compact size that resembles a phone with a 5” display.

Moving further, the smartphone has a faster Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. Its optic has an 8MP rear single camera setup with 0.3-second PDAF focus which focuses on the subject quickly while its five-element lens takes crispy and brightly-lit photos and videos. The phone hosts a 5MP front sensor with face unlock feature that makes it lucrative for those who are looking for the above-said specs at a cheap price range.

There are certain shortcomings such with the newly released Zenfone Live such as it has only 1GB RAM which is discouraging since Android smartphones rely on RAM heavily and with a single gig of RAM, the device could crash if the user opens several high-graphic or heavy apps. To put things into perspective, even OnePlus 6 with 6GB RAM could crash if the user opens all the apps at once. Note that there is a second variant available with 32GB, 2GB RAM options though it would cost more.

The Zenfone Live L1 which is available at Best Buy stores has a limited 16GB internal storage that can be extended up to 512GB using dedicated microSD slot which is quite impressive. Asus seems to have everything sorted in this entry-level Android Go smartphone such as it has a triple SIM support so that you don’t have to buy a separate for your third SIM card. Two of the slots support 4G SIMs while the third support 3G and the previous generation of networks.

The battery is a crucial feature in a phone that could decide whether customers will buy it or not and luckily, the Zenfone Live has a massive 3,000 mAh battery which has some impressive figures associated with it such as it can provide battery backup of 18 hours on Wifi, 42 days on 4G standby, 4 days of music playback, 9 full-length movies on a single charge and 29 hours of 3G talk time to name a few. This is a great feature if you are looking for a phone to take on a trip where you know that electricity won’t be available to juice up the phone. The specs are decent although not too high it’s a great device considering its price which is one-fourth or even one-fifth of the cheapest iPhone available today.
