American Horror Story Season 10 Glimpses

The upcoming season will not be revolving around the weather-dependent theme.

The fans were rejoiced to discover that another season of their favourite, epic-horror story filled TV series, American Horror Story was currently in the making. There was no looking back since the time Netflix also went on to confirm that this was going to take place. Ever since they have confirmed this, there have been a lot of speculations surrounding what exactly the series will be revolving around. The first few glimpses of the upcoming season are already out. On the basis of this, it can be safely assumed that there is some amount of freakiness that is awaiting all of us.

However, the creators of the show have hinted that they might bring about a certain amount of change. In a recent interview, the creator behind the show, Ryan Murphy went on to reveal his ideas for the upcoming season. While talking about it in an interview with The Wrap, the actor stated that the season will not remain “weather-dependent” because of the COVID-19 situation. The film industry has a whole has suffered through because of the current pandemic situation. Therefore, even the 10th season of American Horror Story is quite on the fence with its release date.

On the basis of the information that Murphy has revealed, it can be understood that they might not stay on schedule as far as the release date of the series is concerned. Much like what happened previously wherein American Crime Story: Katarina had undergone and faced Impeachment, we also can understand that we will be facing the same aspect with the audience. We are hoping that the creators of the show will end up featuring an entire season that might revolve around the story of Leslie Jordan. As was featured in AHS: Roanoke, it can also be understood that the same maybe followed through with the rest of the cast members as well.

In the interview, the director can be quoted as saying, “Well I don’t know because a lot of what I was going to shoot was dependent on a very specific moment, it was a weather-dependent show. So now I don’t know. I don’t know what we’re going to do. I don’t know what I’m going to do next with that show. I don’t know if I’ll accelerate another season or wait till next year to shoot this one.”

Season 10 was supposed to mark the return of AHS regular Sarah Paulson after the Emmy-winner sat out season 9, the slasher-themed 1984. Joining her is newcomer Macauley Culkin along with Murphy regulars Kathy BatesLeslie GrossmanBillie LourdSarah PaulsonEvan PetersAdina PorterLily RabeAngelica Ross, and Finn Wittrock.

According to Murphy, the “plan” for American Horror Story is about as up in the air as, uh, every single other production in the world.

“You know, nobody so far has called me up and said, ‘OK, we have a plan to move forward for shooting,’” Murphy added. “So until that day, everybody is kind of on pause. I honestly don’t know. But it’s a great season and I know all the actors are chomping at the bit to get into it, so that’s all I know.”
