World War Z: Is the second part premiering anytime soon?

World War Z is a 2013 American apocalyptic horror movie directed by Mark Foster. The movie is based on the book of the same title written by Max Brooks. The screenplay of the zombie movie has been written by Matthew Michael Carnahan, Drew Goddard, and Damon Lindelof. World War Z premiered worldwide on 3 June 2013.

The movie was huge among the audience as they loved the incredible acting and brilliant direction. It received a mixed review from the critics, some praised the movie for the incredible performance by Brad Pitt in the lead role, while others criticized the movie for lack of new CGI materials and anti-climax.

The sequel of World War Z was announced soon after its arrival. Due to the busy schedule of Brad Pitt, who is the protagonist of the movie, it kept delaying the arrival of the second instalment of World War Z. It was anticipated that the movie will start in the year 2020, but due to the pandemic outbreak of Covid-19, it was delayed yet again. The official announcement about the arrival of the sequel isn’t made by the director of World War Z yet. Let’s hope for it to arrive by 2022.

 

What will be the story of the sequel?

World War Z is a zombie horror movie, so the sequel will continue from the first movie but with new adventures, action, horror, and mysteries. It’d be interesting to see what the sequel of World War Z has in store, we can’t really interpret the story as the creators, and writers have kept it under wrap.

The ensemble cast of World War 2 might have the characters reprising their roles from the first movie which include, Brad Pitt in the lead role.
