It is An American superhero web television series which is developed by Eric Kripke for Prime Video. The series premiered in July 2019. The series is even renewed for season 2, which premiered on September 4, 2020. The episodes are running weekly. As per sources, even season 3 will also happen.

As per the series creator, it was the decision of the producers to air the episodes weekly after 3 episodes, not of Amazon. He further added that “It came from the producers… we’re the ones who pitched them. A lot of people over there were actually reluctant because it was a new idea, or they don’t do it that often. We really wanted it, and Amazon ended up agreeing that they’d give it a try”. He said there are beautiful moments in season 2, and they want people to discuss among themselves before they move to the next episodes. This creates a significant impact.

The comic book of the same name by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson the series is based on. The story follows the eponymous team of vigilantes as they combat superpowered individuals who abuse their abilities.
The general public recognizes superpowered individuals as heroes. The heroes work for the powerful corporation Vought International, which markets and monetizes them. Most of the heroes are arrogant and corrupt. The main focus is in two groups Vought International’s premier superhero team and the titular Boys, vigilantes. They look to bring down the corrupt heroes.
