Will Fleabag Season 3 return? Here’s what Phoebe Waller-Bridge has to say

British comedy-drama television series created and written by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Fleabag that was launched back in 2016, received worldwide acclaim and won numerous awards. Two seasons have come to date and fans can’t stop asking for one more season of Fleabag. Will there be Fleabag season 3? Let’s find out.

The story of Fleabag is based on Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s one-woman show first performed in 2013. Waller-Bridge stars as the titular Fleabag, a free-spirited and sexually active but angry and confused young woman in London. Sian Clifford and Olivia Colman also star, while Andrew Scott joined the cast in the second series. The title character frequently breaks the fourth wall to provide exposition, internal monologues, and a running commentary to the audience. The show premiered on 21 July 2016 and concluded its second and final series on 8 April 2019.

Will Fleabag Return On Display Or Not?
Not just the show gained a big appeal amongst the fans, but it also controlled the stage of 71st Emmy Honors. Waller-Bridge won the British Academy Television Award for Best Female Comedy Performance for the first series. The second series received 11 Primetime Emmy Award nominations and won six, with Waller-Bridge earning Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress, and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series

With its massive victories in the award function, fans were wishing for its comeback with period three. It seems that there will be no further season 3 of Fleabag as Phoebe is busy with other projects including writing a movie. However, it is expected that she may do some appearances or make season 3 of Fleabag sometime in the future. Also, there is a high chance that Fleabag might become part of movie and we might get to Phoebe once again.
