Lisa’s Personal Life
Lisa lives with her family in San Francisco, California. Presley got married 4 times and certainly has four children. She first married Danny Keough in 1988 and had a daughter Riley and son Benjamin. However, their marriage ended in 1994.
Then, 20 days later of her divorce, Lisa tied knots with Michael Jackson. But due to some differences, the couple separated. Nonetheless, Lisa revealed that she spent four years on and off with MJ hoping to reconcile.
Following their separation, Presley then was engaged to John Oszajca, which she broke after meeting Nicolas Cage. She had her third wedding with Nicolas Cage, who filed for divorce, and they separated in 2004. Later in 2006, Lisa married Michael Lockwood, who was her guitarist, producer, and director. Subsequently, the couple gave birth to twin girls: Harper and Finley Lockwood, two years later. However, after ten years of marriage, Presley filed for divorce in 2016. Consequently, her twin daughters were taken into protective custody. Also, she claimed that Lockwood possessed child pornography. Hence she opposed Lockwood’s request for spousal support.
Lisa’s relationship with Michael Jackson
Unlike Lisa Presley, Michael Jackson got married during his life. Although they were a great couple, however, they separated from each other. And the reason behind the divorce was MJ’s wish to have kids with Presley.
Apparently, Michael Jackson and Lisa’s marriage ended after giving her an ultimatum that involved his second wife and his desire to have children. As a result, MJ remarried Debbie Rowe, with whom he had three kids. Michael and Debbie gave birth to Prince Jackson, Paris Jackson, and Blanket Jackson. Moreover, the reason for separation was revealed by Lisa in an interview with Oprah Winfrey. She cleared that Michael Jackson asked her to have children with him. Certainly, she didn’t want to go with the idea, but she also encouraged Jackson to get what he wanted. And that was when MJ told Lisa that Debbie Rowe would give him children instead. It may sound a bit selfish, but Lisa claimed to respect his decision.
Rather, Lisa Said,” Michael wasn’t a bad person. He didn’t know any better. I took it very personally. I felt I was disposable.” She also said, “Michael would tell me, ‘if you’re not gonna do it, Debbie said she’ll do it… if you’re not doing it, this person will. Are you gonna do it or not?’
However, she later revealed that she wasn’t against having kids with MJ. But she just wanted to make sure everything was good around them.
