Po the Panda, with its Kung Fu enthusiasm, has fascinated the audience for a long. We have grown up watching Po the Panda’s journey to becoming the legendary Dragon Warrior by defeating Tai Lung.
The franchise was established in 2008, with its second installment in 2011. The third sequel was dropped in 2016. The producers have decided to pick up the journey once again.
This is an American computer-animated wuxia comedy film and is produced by DreamWorks Animation. For the fourth installment, Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Alessandro Carloni have been taken on board to direct the movie.

Kung Fu Panda 4: Who will be seen in the cast?
We expect the voice actors of this franchise to take back their roles once again. Jack Black will be back to voice Po Ping, Ian McShane as Tai Lung, James Hong as Mr. Ping, Michael Clarke Duncan as Commander Vachir, Randall Duk Kim as Grand Master Oogway, and Dan Fogler as Zeng.’

Jennifer Yuh Nelson is considering taking up the project. “Po is the world. So I am sure something will happen at some point, but it’s just that I don’t know what.”
DreamWorks CEO Jeffrey Katzenberg had revealed in 2011 that he had planned 6 sequels to Kung Fu franchise. He said: “Kung Fu Panda’ actually has 6 chapters to it, and we’ve mapped that out over the years,” Katzenberg told Empire in an interview.
If the project is happening, we expect it to have been halted because of the ongoing pandemic. But we don’t expect it to release anytime soon.
