Good news for all the anime lovers. After the manga season ended, a fifth instalment of the anime series has been confirmed. It is reported to be released later this year. The series will soon be remaking a debut as a part of Adult swim’s Toonami programming block.
Though, the fourth round of the series made the fans quite disappointed on account of the non-release of the English dub. The issue has been resolved this time. The sentai Filmworks has confirmed that the Food wars’ fifth plate is all set to get an English Dub in early 2020.
Sources also reveal that pandemic has caused a significant amount of delay in the filming of the fifth part of the show. The production has been inhibited for an indefinite period. There is no news of the resumption of production work as of now.
The last season of ‘Food Wars’ wrapped up with a cliffhanger. Fans have been eagerly waiting for a potential season 5.As sources confirm that the fifth round of the show will be the final one. Food wars will be produced by JC staff and will be directed by Yoshitomo Yonetani. It will be broadcast on Japan’s Mx Channel.
What can be expected in season 5?
This will be the fifth season for the franchise and will continue to focus on Soma’s Journey through Totsuki; since the former is always bullied by his classmates. They present more challenging tasks to Soma every time as a part of their mischievous deeds. As Soma is not the one to back down, Soma’s cooking skills started developing and within a few days, his cooking skills attained new heights. Megumi Tadokoro, Soma’s partner improved as well throughout the series.
