Westworld has been updated for a fifth season by HBO. Distributed by Warner Bros Television, this science fiction series was updated soon after the third season was launched on March 15 for a total of eight episodes. The third season directed by Jonathan Nolan was a major hit, surpassing 9 million views marks in a short while for the first episode of Season 3.
Based on Westworld by Micheal Crichton, this series draws on the idea of artificial consciousness and the age-old question of free will. Created by Nolan and Lisa Joy, this pair showed the series in season four. This news had come after Nolan and Joy had struck a huge deal with Amazon Studios last year.
While the first two seasons had drawn upon the Western theme, the third season was highly dystopian. The series has an IMDB rating of 8.7/10 and had made its debut on October 2, 2016.
