There have been severe speculations about the sixth season of Merlin. Although the fifth edition of the show, released in 2012, confirmed the wrap of the series. Having 65 episodes in total and a two-part finale, the show was very popular and received immense support all along the 5 seasons.

As sources say, there will be no more expansion of the show unless the network rethinks about it. Merlin was first shipped in 2008 on BBC one channel. The fifth season ended on December 24, 2012. The British serial was also premiered on Syfy in the US. All the seasons are now available on Netflix with 13 episodes each.

Merlin and Authur are the two characters that couldn’t be portrayed any better. Their on-screen bromance has created a special place in the hearts of the fans. Filled with banter and occasional brotherly moment, their friendship has gone through many thicks and thins, which is undoubtedly a message to all the audiences.

The showrunner has portrayed magic as evil and corruptive. Destined to use his magic to protect his friend, Merlin was compelled to keep his magical gifts a secret in fear of being executed. Season 6 might project more of magic and its power, as can be anticipated now.

Colin Morgan can play the role of Wizard Merlin. Angel Coulby can be seen as Guinevere and Bradley James as Arthur Pendragon. Katie McGrath can appear as Morgana, Anthony Steward Head as King Uther Pendragon, and Richard Wilson as Gaius. It can only be viable another season comes up only. Expected Plot

The last seasons have shown Merlin returning to the kingdom of Camelot. He is a youth warlock and soon found out that the King of Camelot, Uther Pendragon, has forbidden “magic” some two decades ago and incarcerated the Last Dragon under his castle to serve as a warning for the felons. Merlin, then, went down into the cave after hearing a strange voice and found that the Great Dragon is actually talking to him. The other fellow conveys that Merlin thas been given a task to protect the son of Uther, Arthur, who will later restore the art of magic in Camelot and unite the land of Albion.
