Tiger King Season 2: The crime-documentary Tiger King is reportedly returning to Netflix for a second season, after becoming one of Netflix’s most-watched shows at the beginning of the COVID-19 lockdown.
The show tells the inconceivably true story of the ongoing feud between zoo owner Joe Exotic and animal rights activist Carole Baskin, which ended with Exotic going to prison for attempted murder and animal abuse charges. Although he is still behind bars, many are left wondering if there will be a second season.

Will There be a Tiger King Season 2?
As is confirmed by numerous sources, it seems there will indeed be a second season of Tiger King coming out in the near future. John Reinke, one of the subjects of the first season, has stated that there are still hundreds of hours of unseen footage and that Netflix wants to get in touch with him regarding making a few more episodes.
Show producers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin have even indicated that the whole story has not yet been told, whilst talking about the potential future of the show. Many other people involved in the show including Joe Exotic’s husband Dillon Passage have also said that filming for the second season has already begun in some quantity.
Furthermore, the events of Tiger King did not happen in the distant past, in fact, the feud between Exotic and Baskin is still underway, and new developments to their story might pop up at any time, so coming up with content for the second season won’t be difficult.

Netflix has not announced a release date for Tiger King season 2 yet, and the release might be delayed even further than expected due to the pandemic slowing things down. As for now, even a trailer would be enough to satisfy the fans, but even that doesn’t seem like it’s coming anytime soon.
