The Walking Dead season 11: Release date, cast and important details

The Walking Dead has been officially updated for its eleventh season but the sad news is that it will be its finale and we will have to bid it goodbye soon. Created by Frank Darabont and Angela Kang, The Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror series.

Season 10 of The Walking Dead was released in March early this year. AMC had issued the renewal of The Walking Dead for the eleventh season on October 5, 2019, much ahead of the tenth-season premiere. AMC had also stated that season 11 will not make its October premiere in 2020 around Halloween and it will be delayed.

As the series is set to conclude, the finale season has been expanded to 24-episode and according to AMC, it will take some time to release. Also, since it has been supersized to 24 episodes, from the original 16 episodes- the series is to stretch over two years. The series had made its debut on October 31, 2010.

The Walking Dead is based on the comic series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore and Charlie Adlard.

But according to the reports, Danai Gurira and Michonne will not make a comeback.

According to AMC, the release will be done lately. Hence, we will have to wait a little longer. The Walking Dead is one of the most watched supernatural series. It has been running successfully for ten seasons at present with 146 episodes till date available for streaming on Netflix.
