This series is the story of a group of teenagers who ought to run their community after the rest of their town suddenly disappears. This mystery begins when the teens of the local high school return early from their field trip because of the trip being canceled. After returning, they found everyone else is gone.
Suddenly, a dense forest appears surrounding the town; then, they found no outside world exists anymore, and no one can be contacted using the telephone or the internet. Now the left teenagers must develop their set of rules and regulations to survive with the limited resources.
There are ten episodes in the first season of the series. The official trailer of season 1 was released on Netflix on April 30, 2019. And nearly one month later, the series premiered on Netflix on May 10, 2019.
Renewal of the series
The series was announced for a second season by the productions in July 2019, but production for the second season was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later revealed on August 21, 2020, that the show had been canceled for now because of the pandemic complications, which led to cost increases and difficulty scheduling production.

The Society Season 2 Plot
The series focuses on particular teenagers’ story that consolidates some unnatural components and sees a gathering of secondary school graduates on a field outing. Unfortunately, they can’t go to the objective, so they get back and find that their town is empty.
