The Seven Deadly Sins’ fans won’t be able to watch season 5 in Netflix anymore. This series now has originally scheduled to come back to it’s Japanese broadcast in October 2020.

Overview:
The Seven Deadly Sins (Japanese: 七つの大罪, Hepburn: Nanatsu no Taizai) by Nakaba Suzuki who is the writer and illustrator of the series, is a Japanese fantasy manga series. The series was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from October 2012 to March 2020. The content was collected into forty-one tankōbon volumes. This manga featured a European Middle Ages. With the groups of knights who represents the seven deadly sins.
The genre of the series is Adventure and fantasy. In the last, there’s a fight between Sins and the Ten Commandments which is led by his brother Zeldris. Demon King’s is now Meliodas who is a cursed son whose destiny is now stitched to Elizabeth’s.
The release date has been revised. In their twitter page, they announced that the show is expected to broadcast in Japan from January 2021.

The first look of the Season 5:
Along with the first look the premises of season 5 was also included in the post. It reads , “Meliodas, Elizabeth, Hawk, Dianne, Van, King, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor are standing against the flames, a mighty enemy, and a visual depicting the members of the Seven Deadly Sins confronting their destiny.”

Can we expect for Season 6?:
Season four of the anime ends in chapter 267 of the manga. In the manga, there’s a total of 346 chapters. So now, only 79 chapters left for the anime to cover. So, we can expect the release of Season 6 as well.

According to some reports, the sequel of the manga is also being planned. The name will be, “The Seven Deadly Sins”: The Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The sixth season may be focusing on Nakaba Suzuki’s new story writing.
Release Date:
Earlier the series was about to be released in October 2020. But later through their twitter account, the showrunners have concluded that the series won’t be released in Netflix first. It’ll initially premiere on a Japanese TV channel. But later this also got delayed and they confirmed it to come in January 2021.
