With Netflix cancelling most of the show, Jessica Jones and Daredevil has already met its end. This leaves the fans anxious about The Punisher season 3. However, it is bad news for the fans as Netflix has put a closure to the show with the second season. As for some hope that is left, we can count on Disney+ for taking up the show. Further, the streaming channel is already premiering a whole lot of Marvel series and movies. Along with this, the directors are also not ready to give up on its vigilante character. This leaves us with something to look forward to.

However, it was also nominated for various categories in award shows for its production team, technical team and cast.
Overview
The Punisher follows the life of a Marine veteran named Frank Castle. After his family was killed, he had just one aim in his life: to avenge them. Season one features Frank hunting down the killers behind his parent’s murder. While doing so, he realizes that the criminal underworld runs deep down and he decides to continue his killing spree being a vigilante. Billy, who was once Frank’s close friend becomes the antagonist as he also had a part in the murder of Frank’s family. Further, we also witness the protagonist suffering from PTSD from his experiences in the war. The comic readers might be aware of the bond that The Daredevil and the Punisher shares. And so, we also see the Daredevil make his debut in the show.

The Punisher season 3 has been cancelled by Netflix but the fans don’t have to be completely disappointed as Disney+ might take over the show if there is a renewal plan. The vigilante will be back in all his glory.
