The OA Season 3 Is Cancelled?

This American mystery drama is cancelled by Netflix.

Ever since The QA landed on Netflix, it has led many fans into getting hooked to the series. While we all know that the mystery-drama series has a dedicated fan following of its own, what we don’t understand is exactly how long is this expected to last. The creative mind behind the series is that of Brit Marling, who is the producer of the show. He had the vision with The QA and has been able to successfully reach the goal along with the partnership of Zal Batmanglij. Zal has been the director of the first two seasons. Furthermore, before Netflix entered the picture, the main production heads behind the series were Plan B Entertainment and Anonymous Content. It’s also interesting to note that the producer of the series is the one who plays the leading actor as well.

To recall, the first episode of the show released back on December 16th, 2016. The series was followed by another season, which released on March 22nd, 2019. The show had a five-part plan going on. It was believed that there were five seasons already in the making. However, things haven’t exactly panned out as they had planned it. It appears that the creators of the show have found themselves in a state of confusion, with not much to look forward to.

Therefore, it appears that while there is a third season in the making or perhaps, in the talks. It is highly unlikely that they will decide to continue beyond the third season.

THE QA SEASON 3 RELEASE DATE

Earlier this year, Netflix made an announcement regarding The QA. They stated that they are planning on cancelling the series after two seasons. It came across as quite a surprise, especially because it had taken us on an incredible journey in the past. The show has undergone a lot of changes since then and it seems like this is exactly what has led to the ultimate destruction of the true meaning of the show. Marling wasn’t particularly happy about this either. He was quite vocal about it too. In a recent Instagram post, he wrote, “Zal and I are deeply sad not to finish the story. The first time I heard the news, I had a good cry. It’s been an intense journey for everyone who worked on and cared about this story.”
