The Mandalorian Season 2: What to expect?
The season 2 of The Mandalorian will arrive on 30th October 2020. The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda will continue their journey while Miff Gideon tries to capture Baby Yoda. Giving a peek into season 2, Favreau said the new season will portray a larger story. He said, “The stories become less isolated, yet each episode has its own flavor, and hopefully we’re bringing a lot more scope to the show.” Also, The Mandalorian Season 2 will bring out the personal story between The Child and The Mandalorian. Favreau also revealed new characters will be featured as different story lines will be explored.
Talking about his character, the Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal said, “We start very directly after the first season and he’s going into very dangerous territory. He is very much a passenger to the experience in unexpected ways — not knowing what’s to come, not knowing how much or how best to protect the Child. We don’t know how far he will go to do that, and they’re finding new ways to push the envelope.” In addition, we will also get to learn more about the meaning and power of The Child.
Moreover, the show will have at least two more seasons. Giancarlo Esposito, who plays Moff Gideon said that the second season would “start to lay the groundwork for the depth and breadth that’s going to come in season 3 and season 4, where you’re really gonna start to get answers.” In fact, the pre-production work for The Mandalorian Season 3 is already underway.
