The legendary actor Carl Reiner passes away in California at 98, NYC Governor Andrew mourns his loss

The most famous Hollywood actor and comedian Carl Reiner died on June 29, 2020. The versatile actor and screenwriter took his last breath in Beverly Hills of California. He was 98 years old at the time of his death. His elder son and assistant Judy Nagy have confirmed this sad news.

Nagy confirmed that Ocean’s Twelve fame Carl Reiner passed away in his Beverly Hills home in California on June 29, due to natural causes. The whole Hollywood film industry has been mourning and expressing their sorrow and grief towards the departed soul. 

The elder son of the late actor Rob has also confirmed the news by sharing a post on his social media account, which reads, “Last night my dad passed away. As I write this, my heart is hurting. He was my guiding light.”

The Governor of New York City, Andrew Cuomo, also mourned his loss and expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on his Twitter account. Remembering the legendary actor, Andrew Cuomo wrote on his Twitter account that” Carl Reiner, Bronx born and bred, made TV comedy that endures to this day. He made America laugh- a real gift”. And then he added that New York extends our condolences to his family and many friends.”

Besides this, American actor Alan Alda, too, expressed his grief by sharing the lovely picture of him and wrote a heartfelt note on his Twitter handle. The actor captioned that “My friend Carl Reiner died last night. His talent will live on for a long time, but the loss of his kindness and decency leaves a hole in our hearts. We love you, Carl”. 

Carl Reiner was not only a great actor, but he was also a comic legend, director, screenwriter, and publisher who marked his remark by giving outstanding performances in many shows that include ‘Your Show of Shows’ and ‘Caesar’s Hour.’

Then he achieved immense popularity with ‘The Dick Van Dyke Show’, which was a big success in the theater. After that, Reiner became an inevitable member of Ocean’s Eleven franchise, which comprises Ocean’s Eight, Ocean’s Twelve, and Ocean’s Thirteen. The late actor’s last film appearance would be in the 2019 movie Toy Story 4 in which he lent his voice as Carl Reineroceros. Apart from that, the famous actor also helmed many successful movies which include All of Me Sibling Rivalry, Summer School, That Old Feeling, and many more. The late actor tied a not with Estelle Lebost, unfortunately, who died in 2008.
