The Legend Of Korra is following the suit of Avatar: The Last Airbender and releasing on Netflix.
Recently, there was news regarding the very popular animated series, ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ to be releasing on Netflix for the U.S.-based audience. It seems like another equally-popular animated series, ‘The Legend of Korra’ is also expected to follow the same suit. It hasn’t been confirmed whether the animated series will be releasing for the global audience or audiences based in particular regions only, however, it appears like Netflix is serious about launching the series across to the audience in the near future.
For those who are not aware, the story behind The Legend of Korra is of the similar theme as ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender.’ Both of these animated series have previously aired on Nickelodeon and have been a fan-favourite since then. This series, once again, brings back the excellent writing skills of Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. The two are known to work well when they are working together. They have been successful at bringing back a bunch of excellent story-telling skills to help viewers go on a journey that can actually be re-defined.
The upcoming season, which is expected to release on Netflix soon enough, is expected to consist of four seasons in total. All the four seasons will be released at the same time. It goes without saying that we have 52 new episodes waiting to be viewed soon enough. They have been airing on Nickelodeon in the past. All the seasons have premiered on the mentioned platform, except for the last one. This is the unique factor that accompanies the official Netflix series. The last season will be included alongside Netflix’s attempt to release all the seasons again.
In case, you folks don’t have access to Netflix, there are many other platforms on which you will be able to view the series. As far as the U.S.-based audience is concerned, you can view the content even on Amazon Prime. This title is also among the many, which has been included as a joint venture that will be premiered on both the platforms. It has turned out to be a big hit for the audience and it seems like it is finally paying off for them. The series is easily available on Amazon Prime for many different kinds of audiences, including the ones based in the U.K. as well as Australia.
Unfortunately, for Canada, the viewers won’t be able to view more than two seasons. These two seasons are available on Stan. However, we are expecting for Netflix to go global with this series.
