The Intern is coming up with sequel?

The Intern is a heartwarming film to watch. The story reminds the audience of simple and small things they do in life with uniqueness. The film is also very motivating, which gives a message that if a person has a will power to do something, he can easily accomplish the task. There were mixed reviews from critics. The film grossed $194 million worldwide. After the release of the movie in 2015, audiences are now wanting to see the sequel of the film.

As per sources, there is no official update on the Intern getting a sequel. The producer of the film has till now not done any sequel of movies produced by him. There has been no communication from the creators of the film about the sequel. It seems like the makers have dropped the idea.

The only update available is there is going to be an Indian adaptation of the film in which Deepika Padukone and Rishi Kapoor were set to star. The Indian adaptation was announced in January 2020. Rishi Kapoor’s role has to be recast as he passed away a few months back.

The Intern is a 2015 American comedy film. Nancy Meyers is the director and producer of the film. 70 years old widower Ben is shown as an intern in an online fashion website. He was working in Dex, but now he got retired. After retirement, he gets bored with his life. He applies to “The Fit,” an e-commerce start-up related to fashion. The start-up is in Brooklyn. The founder of the start-up has started a community outreach program. In this program, seniors would intern. Ben is one of the interns hired by the firm.
