Developed by Mike Flanagan, The Haunting of Hill House has been adapted from a novel of the same name, by Shirley Jackson. After evaluating the grand success of the first part, the makers of The Haunting of Hill House decided to come back with a sequel of it. The looming launch will be named The Haunting of Bly Manor and will be based on Henry James’ ‘The Turn of the Screw.’ The makers of the upcoming series confirmed that the story would be completely different from that of the first part. The Haunting of Hill House received tonnes of appreciations and positive responses because of its spectacular cinematography and gained an IMDb rating of 8.7 out of 10.
The series tells the story of a family of seven people – a husband, a wife, and their five children, who move into their hill house in the summer of 1992 and wish to renovate it to sell it and build their own home. With the sudden turn of events, they find themselves in the middle of experiencing paranormal activities, leading to a terrible loss and grief, which ultimately drives them to leave the house. Many years later, the siblings and their alienated father meet again in response to another tragedy. They end up getting stuck in a situation where each of them needs to share their experiences in the Hill House.
What Is The Release Date For The Haunting Of Bly Manor?
The Haunting of Bly Manor is claimed to be streaming from 9 October 2020, and Netflix has confirmed the same. We are thankful that The Haunting of Bly Manor wrapped up their filming and production before COVID-19 hit the planet. A lot of productions of films and series have been put on hold due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic; we are glad that The Haunting of Bly Manor is not one of them.
Who is returning for The Cast?
We are told that few of the cast from The Haunting of Hill House will make a return in the upcoming launch. We will get to see Oliver Jackson-Cohen and Victoria Pedretti play the roles of Peter and Dani, respectively. The showrunners have not confirmed the other cast. But we are all ready to hear more updates from the official sources about the cast of the new launch.
