The Flash season 7: Release date, cast, plot, and everything you need to know!

This has been a painful couple of months since The Flash Season 6 was abruptly shortened due to the outbreak of COVID-19, and we’ve been more than a little concerned about how the show will be able to pick things up in Season 7. However, based on what we’ve seen so far, Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and Team Flash look poised to hit the floor going!

Although Season 6 was off to an unpredictable and unorthodox final of the season, the cliffhanger was still successful. Iris’ (Candice Patton) Mirrorverse arc, Barry’s synthetic Speed Power, and Eva’s (Efrat Dor) evil designs for Blackhole were all left in the breeze. Thanks to the recent Season 7 trailer and some tips from the showrunner Eric Wallace, a little time has been spent in the coming season.

The Flash season 7: Release date!

It’s coming out in January 2021. Leading to continuing production shutdowns worldwide, CW President Mark Pedowitz declared a change in the CW schedule. “The CW will launch its new season in January 2021 as we resume our usual prime schedule.” Sadly, that means we’ll be waiting for The Flash Season 7 until the coming year.

The output is going to resume shortly. Deadline predicts Season 7 will begin shooting on October 1 in Vancouver, but this date is provisional and subject to adjustment based on the COVID-19 guidance and research. The studio has developed safety standards that will require a two-week self-isolation period before shooting can begin on their projects.

The Flash season 7: Cast!

Typically in shows like this, it’s expected that the main character will often live until the end of each season, but the ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ convergence has scared us a little.
At the start of season six, The Monitor told Barry that the Flash had to die so that billions could survive. However, it later turned out that John Wesley Shipp’s version of the speedster was going to die in his place, just as we stated right here. However, even though Barry winds up dying in various ways by the end of season six, the superheroes will never be dead for a long time.

Now that the clash is over, we can assume that all the other main characters have survived. Given that nobody lifts their clogs in the future, it is highly likely that each of the following will continue on the show for at least another year:

* Candice Patton as Iris West
* Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow
* Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon
* Jesse L Martin as Joe West
* Tom Cavanagh as (a version of) Harrison Wells
* Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny/Elongated Man
* Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton

The Flash season 7: Plot and Storyline!

The Flash Season 6 finished in a bit of a cliffhanger, in Iris disappearing in the Mirror Universe after apparently creating some mirror abilities. Grant Gustin confirmed on The Flash Stars in the House looks that we’re going to get our answers in the new season. “All that was left in the air at the end of season six, we’re going to wrap up at the beginning of season 7 and then go ahead with what the writers had expected,” Gustin said.
It might not be the last season. Since The Flash is going on in years for the CW series, the showrunner Eric Wallace told TV Guide that he had ideas for Seasons 8 and 9 of The Flash that he’d begun plotting. Similarly, Grant Gustin told Michael Rosenbaum on his podcast, Inside of You, that before the COVID-19 debacle, he was in negotiations to extend his contract to Season 8 and 9.
