Since then Verzuz has featured a number of high-profile guests: 2 Chainz and Rick Ross, DMX and Snoop Dogg, Brandy, and Monica, amongst the other. The recent installment of verses on September 14, featured Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight including a surprise appearance from Dionne Warwick.

The American rapper, T.I. released his eleventh studio album The L.I.B.R.A. (The Legend Is Back Running Atlanta) on October 16 by Grand Hustle Records and Empire Distribution.

Jeezy dropped his new album, the seven-track project Twenty/20 Pyrex Vision, one year after TM104: The Legend of the Snowman in late March. And, now it is officially announced that T.I. and Jeezy are going head-to-head in the next Verzuz battle.

T.I. shared the news on his own Instagram page, captioning it with “YKWTFGO.” The pair had also hinted at the possibility of this face-off earlier in the week, when Tip politely rejected a challenge from Busta Rhymes, saying that their is a generational gap. Jeezy hopped in to let the “Whatever You Like” rapper know he is ready to accept the battle. He didn’t mention T.I. in his post, but it was obvious who he was referring to.

Jeezy said, “Say, bruh, you done been around the whole world on your campaign. Now you’re back here. I don’t know what you’re avoiding me for. I’ll tell you what, though, since it means that much to ya — put a date on it. I ain’t gon’ meet ya there — I’m gon’ beat ya there!”

Verzuz will return with a new season this November, featuring this face off between T.I. and Jeezy in the opening session.
