Nowadays, a bunch of series full of supernatural abilities becoming part of our entertainment. One of those series is Supernatural. The series which has cleared fifteen seasons successfully now is in the speculations for Supernatural Season 16. Speculations are surfing over the internet whether season 16 will renew or not.
Supernatural is an American television series created by Eric Kripke. On 13 September 2005, it was aired on The WB. In the series, two brothers are shown as they hunt monsters, ghosts, demons, and other supernatural beings. They follow in their father’s footsteps. They try to save innocent people on their way. Their motto is The family business, Saving People, Hunting Things. In the beginning, it was planned that the series would have 5 seasons only but till now 15 seasons have released. Each season saw varying degrees of success.

Supernatural series development –
Before the series was released on television the creator has been developing the series for almost 10 years. The creator originally thought of releasing it as a movie but later changed his mind. Before becoming the final product the concept went through several phases. He shifted the original idea of an anthology series to one of the tabloids. When the creator pitched the story to the channel initially it was rejected but later with a bit of a change, it was expected.
He decided to have the brothers be from Lawrence, Kansas because he was close to Stull Cemetry a location famous for its urban legends. Sai and Dean was the name given to the two main characters by the creator as an homage to Jack Kerouac’s road-trip novel On Road.
Supernatural Season 16 renewed or canceled?
After 327 episodes and season 15, the creator hinted that the series is coming to an end. In March 2019 few of the cast Misha Collins, Jared Padalecki, and Jensen Ackles made an announcement through the Instagram video that they have told the crew that they are very excited season 15 will happen but then it will be the last season. Season 15 will be like a big grand finale. They also thanked everyone for the support.
