Succession Season 3 will be helmed by Jesse Armstrong once again. It is a dark drama about a dysfunctional family. Season 3 was announced by HBO via a tweet, ” #SuccessionHBO will return for a third season” on August 21, 2019.
The executive vice president of HBO Drama Programming Francesca Orsi said,
“We cannot wait to see how the complex characters that Jesse Armstrong has created continue to navigate this captivating, ruthless world of the uber-rich.” Season 3 is currently under development.
Jesse Armstrong revealed that they are “starting shooting in New York before Christmas”. This is the plan at the moment that the team has committed itself to.
What to expect from season 3?
Kendall played a central role in exposing Logan and the company about their inner dark motives during a televised press conference. This plotline will be further developed in season 3.
The show presents an intersection between politics and media. Succession presents an inside look into this elite, influential, and cutthroat community.
The show is about the power moves of the dysfunctional Roy family. Their Machiavellian power strategy and brotherly (and sisterly) backstabbing is at the center of this show as they look towards the inheritance of their father.
Moreover, Brian Cox will play as Logan, Jeremy Strong will be seen as Kendall, Snook as Shiv, Kieran Culkin as Roman, Alan Ruck as Connor, Matthew Macfadyen as Tom and Nicholas Braun as Cousin Greg will definitely make their return. The supporting cast will include:
1) J Smith Cameron will be seen as Gerri
2) Justine Lupe will be seen as Willa
3) Dagmara Domińczyk will be seen as Karolina
4) Arian Moayed will be seen as Stewy among the other characters of the show.
When will season out on screens?
There is an ongoing delay in the shooting of season 3 of Succession, because of the halt brought by the pandemic. Season one of Succession was aired in June 2018, with season two making its release in August 2019. At present no news is available about when the series will make it to the screens once again.
Is the trailer of Succession Season 3 available?
