About Stranger Things

Stranger Things is an American sci-fi series, with supernatural/horror elements. It is a Netflix Original show created by the Duffer Brothers. The story is set in the fictional town called Hawkins in Indiana during 1980s. The Hawkins Lab does secret experiments into the paranormal and supernatural in the name of scientific research. Subsequently, Will is abducted by a creature from the Upside Down. His mother Joyce and police chief Hopps search for him. Meanwhile, a young ‘psychokinetic’ girl named Eleven escapees from the lab. Apparently, the Hawkins Lab was performing experiments on her. Later, she joins Mike, Dustin and Lucas to find Will. In season 2, set a year later, Will’s friends and family discovers that Will is still impacted by the Upside Down. It is then discovered that the Upside Down is a bigger threat to the world. At the end of season 2, Eleven uses her power to shut the portal to the Upside Down.

In season 3, everything is fine until a secret Soviet laboratory tries to reopen the portal. Consequently, the city deals with new creatures followed by a series of horror. All of them try to stop the new lab. In the end, Hopps dies in order to stop the machine. Eleven moves in with Will’s family and they leave Hawkins. However, Russia still has a hold on the creatures.
