The American science fiction-horror web tv series, Stranger Things is heading towards the production of the fourth season. Netflix had announced the renewal in September 2019. The Duffer Brothers, along with Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, and Iain Paterson will be back once again to produce the show.
It is in the news that the tentative date to restart the production for the fourth season has been set. Netflix’s flagship series, Stranger Things will resume it’s shooting in Georgia for season 4. The tentative date has been set for September 28. Previously the shooting had shut down owing to coronavirus pandemic on March 13, 2020.
While the production was down, the team did not stop the work for season 4. The hiatus was used to complete the script for season 4, which will have eight episodes in total. The script was complete by mid-June.

Produced by Monkey Massacre Productions & 21 Laps Entertainment, Stranger Things was first dropped on Netflix on July 15, 2016. A revelatory teaser for the fourth season was made available in February 2020, but since then no updates about how the series will span out has been revealed.
While in the finale of Season 3, it seemed that David Harbour’s character, Jim Hopper is presumed dead as he had sacrificed his life in an explosive pivotal moment, the February teaser spoke out something else. It seems that Hopper is well and alive and that he is somewhere in a snowy labour camp in Russia. But nothing concrete has been established yet.

Harbour has revealed that his return was already planned by the Duffer Brothers. “I knew. We knew. We had talked about it,” he states about this prospective return.
Stranger Things Season 4: When will it release?
The Duffer brothers had made it official on February 14, 2020 that Stranger Things will be back. As the series is now to resume the production soon, we can expect that we will get to see it around mid-2021. But we await for the official announcement.
