Star Wars franchise is the fourth main installment of the Star Wars: Battlefront series, and a sequel to the reboot of the series. It was developed by EA DICE in collaboration with Criterion Games and Motive Studios, and published by electronics arts.
When did Star Wars battlefront II come?:
It was released worldwide on November 17, 2017, for PlayStation 4, Xbic one, and Microsoft Windows. It features both single-player and multiplayer game modes, including a story-driven campaign, set between the films Return of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, which depict the climax of the Galactic Civil war and the Galactic Empire’s downfall from the perspective of imperial commander turned Rebel Alliance Soldier Iden Versio.
Modes in Star Wars Battlefront II:
Star Wars received mixed reviews and critics. It was praised for its multiplayer, gameplay, balancing, visuals, and variety, but criticized for its single-player modes, campaign, microtransactions, and progression system.
It faced widespread criticism for the status of its loot box which gave players substantial gameplay advantages if purchased with real money.
The game received numerous content additions thorough free title updates to increase its value in the market after launch, which brought a large number of new players. These updates ended on April 29, 2020. After electronic arts said that the game achieved its desired number of players and was a big improvement over the initial release.
A Celebration edition of the game was released on 5th December 2019.
It has a total of twelve online multiplayer game modes, some of which are for a limited time.
The largest model, supremacy supports up to 40 simultaneous players with additional Al-Controlled players. These modes are Galactic Assault, Supremacy, Starfighter assault, Heroes Vs Villains, Hero Showdown, Hero Starfighters, Co-op Missions, Strike, Blast, Extraction, Ewok Hunt, Jetpack Cargo.
Single-player modes are Instant Action, Custom Arcade, Battle Scenarios.

The Belgian Gambling regulator announced that it was investigating the game, alongside Overwatch. To determine whether loot boxes constituted unlicensed gambling. In response to it EA claimed that Battlefront II’s loot boxes do not constitute gambling. It was considered to be illegal under gambling laws but found EA had temporarily removed micro-transactions from the game.
