The Society season 2 was officially announced to be back on 2020. However, on August 21, 2020, Netflix decided to cancel the season. This was a huge disappointment for the fans of the show. The reason for the cancel being the delay in production due to Covid-19. Along with this, the difficulty in maintaining a huge cast. The teen- drama had a large fanbase after its launch of season 1 and the fans had already begun to ask for a season 2 but all their hopes are now shattered.
The show first premiered on May 10, 2019. The original language is English. Christopher Keyser is the creator of The Society. The show has completed one season with 10 episodes. It is similar to other teen drama’s such as Riverdale, this increases the teenage fanbase and captivates their interest.

Plot
The plot of The Society is very interesting and it captures our attention to it. The story involves a few teenagers who live in a town called West Ham. The place deals with strange things that keep happening. Right before the group of teenagers went on a camping trip there were many incidents. West Ham was filled with a bad smell which the people tried to get rid off. Along with this, Grizz, one of the characters sees a Bible verse written on the side of the church. It said, “You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting”. They ignore all these signs and go off on the trip not knowing what’s coming in their way.
When they return they realise that everyone else in the town has mysteriously disappeared. They realize they have been separated from the rest of the world and there’s no way to get out. The road that goes outside West Ham has disappeared and is now surrounded by a line of trees. Now it’s up to them to survive in this place all by themselves. They face many problems such as shortage of food and other resources. Also, one of them who were part of the died by snake bite while on a search to find an escape route.
The whole show makes us think of how we will survive if we ever come across such a situation. And also, of everything that we at present are taking advantage off.
