Shiny Pokemon : A guide on what are and how to find Shiny Pokémon !

In March 2017 Shiny Pokemon was first introduced with the surprise reveal of Shiny Magikarp and its evolution, the red Shiny Gyarados.  Many new Shines has been revealed science then. Shiny Pikachu is one of them. All have the more unique variant. Shines are rare.

What Are Shiny Pokemon?

Shiny Pokemon are colour variants. Per Pokemon, there is only one Shiny colour variant. Shiny Gyarados is red instead of blue. Others are delicate and difficult to describe. Shiny Bulbasaur and Squirtle have the same colour but shades are a little different. Every single Pokemon has a Shiny variant in the core game. In Pokemon Go during community day or other special events, Shiny Pokemon are unlocked.

How to find Shiny Pokemon?

When the players try to catch Pokemon, Shines is found. They are displayed as alternate colours in the battle and post-battle screens. In the fields, they do not appear as a different colour so players have to attempt them to catch them first. They can also be found in hatching Eggs, Research task rewards, and Raid bonus challenges. The players have to check everyone looking for since Shiny creature is extremely rare.

Every Shiny Added To Pokemon Go –

  • Magikarp and Gyarados were the first Shiny in Pokemon Go were added in March 2017. The first Shiny that caught the Red Gyarados at Pokémon Gold, Silver, and Crystal’s Lake of Rage.
  • Shiny Pikachu was added to Pokemon Go park even in August 2017. This was the second set of Shiny. Those within the event radius had the chance of catching a Shiny Pikachu. These are made available around the world. On Pokemon day 2018 it was expanded on with a shiny hatted Pikachu.
  • Shiny Gen 3 Raids were added in 2017 with the arrival of 50 Gen 3 creatures. Two Raid-specific catches both of which are in the Shiny version were seen.
  • Shiny Gen 3 Ghosts was added Halloween event in 2018. The first Gen 3 creatures (Duskull, Dusclops, Shuppet, Sableye, and Banette) were introduced.
  • Shiny Gen 3 Desert update was added in January 2018. The Aron family of creatures all are in the Shiny variant they are the part of Shiny Gen 3 Desert.
  • Shiny Gen 3 Dragon update (Swablu) is one of the few creatures available as Shiny Pokemon. It can change the blue body colour to yellow.
