Sex Education season 3 is expected to return with a third season.
Reports regarding the third season of our beloved Netflix original series, Sex Education is expected to hit the screens soon. However, their filming was expected to take place from this month onward. In a recent announcement, Netflix confirmed that they will be bringing the hit show back on-screen. Before they made their announcement, there were already quite a few rumours regarding the third season.
In fact, a report by Production Weekly had suggested that the team had already begun filming for the show. The filming of the show is expected to continue to take place until September, 2020. As per reports, the filming is scheduled to take place from May until September. However, it doesn’t appear like they will be able to resume the filming any time soon. In fact, it will go on to take quite a large amount of time for the situation to return to being normal first. We are currently facing the pandemic situation and we are not sure when this will resolve.
Sex Education Season 3 Plotline: Will Otis And Maeve Find Love?
The following cast members are expected to make their grand return with the third season:
- Asa Butterfield will return as Otis Milburn
- Gillian Anderson will return as Jean Milburn
- Ncuti Gatwa will return us Eric Effoing
- Emma Mackey will return as Maeve Wiley
- Connor Swindells will return as Adam Groff
- Kedar Williams Stirling will return as Jackson Marchetti
Over the last two seasons, we have learned a lot about the colourful characters that fill Otis’ world. They all belong to the same school, i.e. Moordale Secondary school. We are introduced how the characters are learning about themselves over time. We believe that there are a lot of questions that the third season will be able to resolve. Chief among them is, will Otis and Maeve find love?
All throughout the previous season, we were shown how Otis and Maeve are both, made for each other. However, the timings and other factors involved with them, are not exactly quite the match. Regardless of what they maybe going through, they have still been able to be a good pair together. It is towards the end of the second season where we see Otis finally gathering enough courage to tell Maeve what he really feels about her. The aftermath includes Maeve’s mother finding out in the process and things ending in a complicated manner.
While Maeve is unable to listen to voicemail, the mother does and she makes sure that they remain separated. At the same time, Isaac comes to rescue. He is the disabled character who lives across Maeve and hears the voicemail. The only thing about him is that even he seems to be having feelings for Maeve. We will be able to discover what will happen to their love in the next season.
