Netflix has decided to plan the shoot of the third season of Sex Education, and in an exciting turn of events, the casting team of the streaming giant has revealed they’re on the hunt for extras for the upcoming season.
There is a report which was published in Marie Claire suggests that due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Netflix had also put a halt on the shooting of Sex Education 3, like many other movies. Though, it has been decided by the show makers now that they will resume shooting for the show by the end of August for which they will need new extra members.
As per the recent report, which was published in Mad Dog’s official website, the candidate who wants to appear in the series, they can apply for the Sex Education Season 3. For this, they will need to sign up for the Mad Dog Extras app and should be available for shooting in September. Besides this, interested candidates require to upload the right to work documents and the latest photos. Though, the candidates cannot apply directly for a specific role.
Apart from that, it has also been mentioned by the Mad Dog officials that candidate who wishes to be in the show must be aged between 18 to 25, as the show mostly oblige to a young audience. Apart from actors, the Sex education team is also looking for singers, as the team wishes to have vocal ensembles on board such as gospel, acapella, and traditional groups.
Sex Education is the most popular British comedy-drama web series, which was created by Laurie Nunn, which portrays the story of a teenage boy named Otis.
The boy makes a deal with his mother, who is a sex therapist, and they partner with a high school instructor to build a center for secret sex counseling at school. Sex Education season 3 will be featuring Gillian Anderson, Asa Butterfield, Emma Mackey, and Ncuti Gatwa in the leading roles. Kedar Williams-Stirling, Connor Swindells, and Aimee Lou Wood are also starred in prominent roles in the show.
The first season of the show has gained immense admiration and success, and the show has become a key and commercial success for Netflix, with more than 40 million viewers streaming after its debut in the first series.
