Samsung Note 9 leaks again just two days away from official release on August 9

Samsung is trying hard to contain any potential leaks about the soon-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Note 9 but things aren’t working out for Samsung as planned. With bunch of previous leaks and rumors, we already know a lot of details about the upcoming Note 9 but recent leaks from Samsung Russia and Samsung New Zealand have provide more details and insights about the smartphone before everything is formally launched at the August 9 event. Let’s just zip into what’s new with Note 9 because it releases on August 9 and that’s two days away. A recent photo leaked from Samsung’s Russian retail store shows a retail box for upcoming Note 9 with spec sheet written on it. Though it is in Russian but guys at SamMobile translated it in plain english so that people like us with no Russian language knowledge could understand. It provides insights such as the 4,000 mAh battery that will be housed inside the chassis of upcoming Note 9 and this is something Samsung has been advertising about with one liners hinting towards faster battery drain in its promo videos. Further, it also states that Note 9 will have a base model of 128GB storage and about the optics, it will sport Samsung Galaxy S9+’ 12MP dual aperture f/1.5 and f/2.4 sensor bundled with 12MP f/2.4 secondary rear dual-camera setup. But a video posted by Samsung New Zealand ‘accidentally’ or should I say ‘deliberately’ gives more insights about the upcoming phablet. The tech giant accidentally published the promo for Note 9 on YouTube which was later removed but the thing with people on the web is, nothing is deleted even if you delete it from your end. The video that was copied and reposted before Samsung could pull out the original video shows the phablet to be ‘1TB ready smartphone’ which can be expandable via microSD card. Samsung has earlier confirmed that Note 9 will be available with a 512GB internal storage variant to oppose to Apple iPhones that max at 256GB of internal storage. What’s bizarre is that Samsung is the world’s largest memory maker for smartphone which contradicts its decision to roll out smartphone with less internal storage and flexibility of expanding the same via microSD card which Samsung has been following for few years now. However, the promo that I earlier talked about shows that Samsung will roll out smartphones with higher internal storage variants from now. Furthermore, the video also hints towards a massive battery, greater RAM, and a larger display with S9+’ camera setup. Note 9 won’t have an under-the-display fingerprint scanner as it was earlier believed. The cost remains a question too. Stay tuned to know more about the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 when it is officially unveiled on August 9 (Thursday)
