Rumble is an American computer-animated sports comedy film produced by Paramount Animation. It has labeled it as the “biggest underdog story ever”. The movie is being directed by Hamish Grieve.
Rumble is based on Monster on the Hill, which is a graphic novel by Rob Harrell. Originally the movie was also titled as Monster on the Hill, but the title was later changed to Rumble. The movie was announced for production officially at the CinemaCon in Las Vegas on April 25, 2018.
Matt Lieberman and Etan Cohen have scripted the movie. Paramount has produced the movie in collaboration with ReelFX to develop the movie.
It has also teamed up with WWE Studios to produce this movie. Mireille Soria who is the President of Paramount Animation said in an interview, “Rumble is steeped in the world of wrestling, and what better partners to help bring this world to life than WWE. They bring a pedigree and institutional excellence that is unmatched.”
What can we expect from Rumble?
It was officially announced on September 19, 2019 that Rumble will release on theatres on July 31, 2020. In November, last year it was revealed that the movie will not release in July.
As per the reports, Rumble is now officially scheduled to release in theatres on January 29, 2021.
In this movie, Geraldine Viswanathan is cast as Winnie McEvoy who is a monster wrestling trainer. Minnie is tracing the footsteps of her father in order to train monsters who will fight in the global wrestling in the movie.
Besides her, Will Arnett is starring in the movie as Steve, who is a giant red reptilian monster. Steve wants to appear in this global wrestling championship and is training under Winnie for the upcoming wrestling competition.
Terry Crews is starring in the movie as Tentacular, who is a shark-headed tentacled monster. Tentacular is the winner of the previous Monster Wrestling competition. Fred Melamed is starring in the movie as the mayor.
Additionally, Becky Lynch has been cast in the movie. Roman Reigns. Ben Schwartz. Jimmy Tatro. Tony Danza. Susan Kelechi Watson, and Stephen A. Smith are also the cast members of Rumble.

The movie features the wrestling monsters who are trained to fight in the wrestling championships. Winnie is training the monsters like her father previously used to do.
