Riverdale, produced by Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios has officially renewed for Riverdale Season 5. This American drama teen series is available on Netflix for streaming.
Based on the very popular Archie Comics, Riverdale is a dark adaptation of the comic series and Archie Andrews and his gang’s life is wound up in a mysterious circle in the supernatural town of Riverdale. The franchise has a total of four seasons at present. Riverdale had made its debut
release on January 26, 2017.
It is in reports that Cole Sprouse who has played Jughead Jones in the series has already made his exit and will not return for the upcoming season. But as of now, he has not confirmed or denied this particular news. The CW has updated the series but has revealed no information about the cast details yet. This is because the rumour about Jughead’s death will only be revealed in the upcoming season.

But, it has been confirmed that we will get to see KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper and Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge in the fifth season.

The Archie’s gang prom and Riverdale High graduation will be the opening sequence of Season 5. It is in the news that there will be a time jump and the events will be fast-forwarded to 4-5 years.
