The duo of Frozen, co-producer Paul Briggs and Peter Del Vecho are up for yet another spectacular movie. A new princess is born for Disney. Raya and the Last Dragon is an upcoming animated movie by Walt Disney Pictures and Walt Disney Animation Studios. The movie is directed by Don Hall and Carlos Lopez Estrada. The fans have been waiting eagerly for the big news which is the release date. The movie was supposed to feature on November 25, 2020. However, as we all know about the COVID-19 which apparently even the new warrior princess cannot fight has delayed its release. The new release date is announced to be on March 12, 2021.
The movie was initially titled as the Dragon Empire but later on changed to the present title. Disney movies have entertained and touched the hearts of both the kids as well as adults with their plot and characters that make us fall in love with them. The new movie is also expected to do the same. We won’t be disappointed.

Overview
Disney has evolved through time from showing princesses who were trying to find true love to those fighting against marriage and being independent. Raya and the Last Dragon tells the story of yet another warrior princess. There is very few information regarding the movie. However, we know the story is set in a fantasy land called Kumandra. The production team had travelled through Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia to study about the place and people to develop this movie. A teaser was released showcasing a beautiful warrior princess and a dragon in the background.
Further, the movie portrays Raya, a warrior who sets out to find the last dragon to save her land. It is likely to feature the relationship between the dragon and the princess. The movie is expected to portray action, bravery, passion and a little bit of magic. This we can interpret by seeing the teaser of the movie, the background shows a fantasy land which seems to have its own powers and secrets which might uncover in the film.
