Ragnarok Season 2: Release Date, Plot, Cast and much more.

Season 2 of Ragnarok Season 2 was verified when the creators released the first season in January this year.

Ragnarok can be streamed on Netflix. This is most likely to be applicable for the second season, considering that it is a Netflix original.

Overview:

Ragnarok is a Norwegian show on Netflix, the second of its kind. A fantasy-drama, it follows the story of Magne, who lives in the fictional Norwegian town of Edda. Magne discovers he is the embodiment of the Norse God of Thunder, Thor, and must use his powers to protect his town, and also the planet, from those who wish harm upon it.

Season 1 has widely acclaimed by fans and secured an IMDB rating of 7.5 out of 10. Here’s all we know about the upcoming season 2 of Ragnarok.

Plot:

The antagonists of the show are the Jutul family, or as is known is Norse Mythology, the Jotunn. One might recognize these beings as the antagonists from the Thor movies made by Marvel. The Jotunn are humongous ice giants who in Norse Mythology are the Biblical equivalents of demons.

In the series, the Jutul family is the fifth-richest family in Norway, and own several factories which are causing climate change and industrial pollution in the small town of Edda. It is upto Magne to rise up to them and save his town.

After having initially defeated the leader of the Jutul family in season 1, Magne will most likely encounter new villains, who are also most likely inspired from Norse Mythology.
