The new season of Ozark is expected to come out soon by mid to late 2021. The final season will premier with 14 episodes as confirmed by Netflix. The team had announced that the production will begin on November 9, 2020. However, due to current situation, its hard to predict anything. This is also likely to be the final season of the series.

Ozark released its first season on July 21, 2017. It was created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams. The original language is English. The show has completed 3 seasons with 30 episodes. More information on the upcoming season is given below.

Preview and plot

After his business partner, Bruce cheats a dangerous client and gets killed. Marty who is his financial advisor devises a plan to launder 500 million in the next five years to please his client so he and his family are safe. Following these 3 full seasons of jaw-dropping action and shocking twists.

In season three, Marty and Wendy are chosen by Omar Navarro to run the cartel’s future money-laundering operations. In the process, Helen was killed by him to eliminate her from the equation. Another unfortunate character was Ben (Wendy’s brother) who knew the truth and even confronted Helen about it all but was killed off as a result of trying to expose them and Wendy didn’t even oppose the decision. But Ben’s death led to a chain of events involving Ruth (Ben’s lover) who wants revenge for Ben and Johan (the son of the Byrdes). Moreover, Ruth finding out the truth about his parents leads to them have important roles in the upcoming season.

Another curious character in this show is the FBI agent Maya Miller.  No one really knows who’s the side she’s on. It will be interesting to see what unfolds from her side of the story in the next season.

It’ll be exciting to see the return of the characters from season 4 in the new season apart from a few characters who didn’t survive past season 3. The notable cast includes:

The show is made constantly bringing in new shocks and twists into the plot to keep their audience at the end of their seats and with several character deaths in the mix. The story is never predictable so, it’s not hard to understand why fans are bursting with excitement for season 4.
