When will Overwatch 2 Release?

At BlizzCon 2019, Blizzard said that Overwatch 2 is still early in development and isn’t sure when it will release. “I don’t know. I have no idea,” game director Jeff Kaplan said at the reveal panel. “Like, just let us make it great, that’s what we care about more than anything. We don’t have a date in mind.” However, experts believe that Overwatch 2 will be released somewhere around October 2020.

The sequel to Blizzard’s team-based shooter will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One (plus next-gen consoles).

It is to be noticed that it is not the usual update as new characters and maps will also come to the Overwatch 1 free of cost. The sequel will feature new PvP modes, with Push being the staple of competitive play, as well as new maps, cosmetic items and characters – including Sojourn, who was unveiled during the event.
