Plot
The show is about a game called YGGDRASIL which is an online role-playing multiplayer game which is finally being shut down after twelve impressive years. The game had several guilds but one of the most dominant was Ainz Ooal Gown. Standing strong with its 41 members, the guild was nearly untouchable. Although most of its members stopped playing, only one member, Momonga who was a skeletal “overlord” character, stayed loyal. He decided to stay on the game till it was completely over shut down to enjoy his last few moments with the game.
The plot thickens when the game goes past the time when it was meant to shut down. To make matters worse, Momonga seems to be trapped in his game avatar. He sets out to find other humans who could be stuck in the game. This leads to many exciting adventures and puzzling mysteries. With the announcement of season 4, many fans have been eagerly awaiting the trailer to see what awaits them in the next season. The fourth season is also set to answer several of the biggest questions that came up after the conclusion of season 3.

Overlord Season 4
The show is making a steady climb to becoming a very good anime and season 4 could see it taking a huge leap forward. Although it will take some waiting, the show will definitely be worth the wait and deliver. The show has often been criticized for being too much of a power fantasy anime at the time so it’ll be interesting to see how the creators workaround as well. Either way, it’ll surely be one to look out for!
