The Expendables 4 is an upcoming action film and is a second part of the film, The Expendables 3 which was released in 2014. It is the fourth part in the Franchise.
On February of 2018, Terry Crews said to media and on his Twitter account a growing issue where he had finally begin to admit that a Hollywood agent had touched him appropriately at a celebration . He revealed that the agent with great care happened to represent Stallone and implied that Lerner’s reps were asking Crews to drop his lawsuit against Stallone’s agent. This cause various speculation on wether or not Crews would return to the franchise. Crews had previously stated in 2016 he was curious about returning as long as Stallone was still involved.
On May 16, 2018, Millennium Films also updated its promotion space at Cannes festival by showing off posters for it’s other film sequels Rambo V and Angel Has Fallen. Further coverage was later documented days later.
Is The Expendables 4 happening?
In the end of May 2020, Jean-Claude Van Damme adviced Stallone and Avi Lerner an idea that in The Expendables 4 he could play the antagonist one more time and play a role as a brother of Jean Vilain, Claude Vilain. According to his idea, Claude Vilain will train his own team, to fight the old squad of The Expendables, which is led by Barney Ross.
In August 2020, a Spanish distribution company Vértice Cine partnered with Lionsgate and Millennium Films, said that The Expendables 4 as one of their upcoming projects. Patrick Hughes is scheduled to direct the film, with Statham, Stallone, Banderas, and Lundgren as the lead roles.
