Doom Patrol is one of the most successful series that came from the pages of DC Comics. The Doom Patrol is not one of the conventional superheroes who team together to defeat evil. Instead, Doom Patrol comprises the superheroes who went through sheer torture and pain to achieve the powers. Moreover, the superheroes of this group did not want power in the first place.

The misfits were an experiment of the person they call Chief, who guides them to protect his agenda. In the first season, Doom Patrol did a showcase in the end that Chief is responsible for the suffering of these people.

Even the public doesn’t love this group of superhero

Doom Patrol usually save the usual thing and save the world from eternal damnation. However, they do not get the appreciation that they need from anyone. Sometimes, people even call them super freaks just because they can’t understand them.

Nevertheless, the series is incredibly popular among both the viewers as well as the critics. One of the most exciting things about the show is that the character Mr Nobody makes sarcastic jokes on the critics. Moreover, DC did a great thing in introducing the Doom Patrol because currently, the series is very much successful.

Doom Patrol gets renewed for a second season

The fans of the Doom Patrol should be glad to know that the show has been renewed for a second season run. Now, the fans can finally see the face of Chief’s daughter, who is the most powerful being in the series.

During the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con the creators of the series present at the DC Universal panel said that the series would get a second season. Doom Patrol comprises of superheroes such as Robotman, Negative Man, Elastic-Woman, Crazy Jane and Niles Caulder. Doom Patrol would hit the streaming networks such as DC Universe and HBO Max in the following year.
