Christopher Nolan’s representative responds to bizarre claims on the filmmaker’s “no chair rule” on the set

    The spokesperson of the renowned filmmaker Christopher Nolan has clarified and responded to bizarre claims, which is Nolan doesn’t allow chairs on his film set. According to the report, the spokesperson has now denied Hathaway’s claims and confirmed that Christopher Nolan has no problem with chairs on sets.

    As in the recent interview which was published on Variety, actress Anne Hathaway claimed that “Christopher Nolan does now not allow chairs on his sets,” and then she also mentioned Nolan’s reasoning behind no chair rule of on the set, and continued that, “if you have chairs, people will sit, and if they’re sitting, they’re not working.”

    Besides this, the Dark Knight actress admired the nontraditional approach of Christopher Nolan in her initial statement and said, “I mean, he has these incredible movies in terms of scope and ambition and technical prowess and emotion. It always arrives at the end under schedule and under budget. I think he’s onto something with the chair thing.”

    After Hathaway’s bizarre statement on Nolan’s no chairs rule, there have been a lot of speculations among the audiences, and many fans took their Twitter to give their hilarious reactions to the anti-sitting idea. Besides that, several memes and jokes were created on Nolan’s no chair rule on the set.

    However, an Oscar-winning actress has worked with Nolan on the 2012 Batman movie The Dark Knight Rises, where she played Catwoman. Along with this, she has also worked with Nolan’s directorial Interstellar. And in the recent, interview she talked about her experience of working with the filmmaker, she opened up that Nolan has a “no chair” rule on the sets. However, the representative of the filmmaker has completely denied her bizarre claim and shed light on what she meant.

    The representative of the filmmaker said one of his statement that “For the record, the only things banned from Christopher Nolan’s sets are cell phones (not always successfully) and smoking (very successfully).”

    Before it, he added that “The chairs Anne was referring to are the director’s chairs clustered around the video monitor, allocated on the basis of hierarchy not physical need. Chris chooses not to use his but has never banned chairs from the set. Cast and crew can sit wherever and whenever they need and frequently do.,”
